Willis Family Reunions
Each year the Extended family tries to hold a reunion. Every
even year the reunion is held somewhere in South Georgia where Benjamin and
Blansett Willis lived. These reunions always include time to visit the Family
Cemetery and old homestead, as well as other local attractions. During the odd
years, the family decides by consensus where the would like to meet. Usually
this is dependent on someone stepping up and taking the lead in getting it
arranged.

The 2006 reunion will be held at the Georgia Baptist
Convention Center in Norman Park, Georgia. Norman Park is west of
Tifton, south of Sylvester and north of Moultrie.

Norman Park has a pool, meeting rooms, gymnasium,
cafeteria and rooms to rent. It's perfect for family reunions. Follow

Other events that we have had in the past include
the following, we just need someone to organize this year. They are
usually a lot of fun!

- Others as people volunteer
to organize them!
Please check around with other family
members as you meet them. Some activities are still in planning and
some won't be planned until everyone gets there and the participants
decide to do them. The purpose of this reunion is to get to know
each other and spent time doing the things we like with each other.

Lodging
We encourage people to stay at Norman Park so
that we can spent time getting to know one another and share what's
going on in each other lives. We have a special rate and a slate of
rooms reserved, just mention the Willis Family Reunion when you call
